How do I use the Recluse Bite Salve?
Clean bite area and any impacted skin around the bite. Apply salve directly to the bite area. Pat on, do not rub. Cover area with bandage. Repeat twice daily (clean, apply, cover).
When is it too late to apply the Salve?
The earlier you receive treatment, of course, the better the results, but it is never too late to start treating the wound. It is never unsafe to start using.
How soon can I expect results?
Patients have reported seeings signs of healing and improvement as early as 12 hours after the first treatment.
How do I store the Salve?
We recommend storing it in a cool and dry environment, out of direct sunlight. If the ingredients do happen to separate in the jar, just stir until mixed well.
What is the shelf life?
We recommend a 2 year shelf life, but herbs never fully lose their potency. It should still prove effective even after long-term storage.
The salve seems hard. How do I apply it?
The salve will soften when you place your warm fingers on it. If necessary you may gently heat the jar in warm water.
Can I use the Salve for other insect bites?
Yes! The salve is effective for a variety of other insect bites. Also works for cuts and abrasions. It offers anti-biotic, anti-viral, anti-fungal, and anti-parasitic properties.
